There is also a free children's school on the premises of Parmarth called Sanskar Vidya Mandir. Originally established as a school for the children of the sevaks of the ashram, word quickly spread that it was the best, free school in the area. Hence children started pouring in from as far away as Lakshman Jhula area (approximately 2 kilometers away) and we continued to expand the school. Today it is home to approximately 225 children in classes nursery through 8th class.
